quality is outstanding. The cap is very easy to install and remove. It
fits securely and is very unlikely to come off accidentally. It is much
more convenient to use than the "bag" that Nikon provides. Highly

J David F: I bought the Zemlin lens hood for my Nikkor 200mm f/2.0 because the original hood was bent and Nikon's replacement cost was outrageous. The quality, durability, and locking mechanism is so much better than Nikon's that I bought another Zemlin hood for my 400mm f/2.8 even though the original is as good as new. The Zemlin attachment design is so much better. Nikon engineers could learn a lot from Karl!
